A warm welcome awaits you at St. Mary's church, situated in the small west Norfolk village of Southery.
Built in the nineteenth century the church was designed in the 'catholic' tradition of the Church of England, with the reserved sacrament, a magnificent Rood Screen, and stations of the cross. Today we worship in a 'liberal catholic' way, using Common Worship, and a mixture of newer worship songs as well as traditional hymns.
The church has a 'community area' at the back of the building, with a kitchen and a toilet that can be used by the disabled. The church has ramp access, and there is plenty of room for parking.
Our main service is a Sung Eucharist at 10.00am each Sunday.
If you would like to know more just contact the Associate Rector, Stuart Morris, 01366 377567.
The church is situated in Churchgate Street, Southery. Click on the map below for a larger image.
Looking forward to seeing you.
